What is XRKade?

XRKade is a combined gaming and fitness system that incorporates fun into a workout. With Wii gaming systems, interactive bikes, snowboarding and skateboarding platforms and more. XRKade offers something for everyone of all ages.

Springfield is the showcase for the first XRKade installed in Ohio!

Why XRKade?

There is a health crisis in America, especially among our youth aged 9 - 24. Fatty foods and inactive lifestyles are contributing to obesity, and it is difficult to find a workout that doesn't get boring quickly. These youth also make up a huge percentage of the gaming community. XRKade is a perfect solution! By bringing gamers into an environment where a workout can be fun, even competitive, the XRKade system is helping to bridge the gap.

Scary Child Obesity Statistics

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 16% of children aged 6 - 19 years old (over 9 million children) are overweight or obese. This number has tripled since 1980. Over the past three decades the childhood obesity rate has more than doubled for preschool children aged 2 to 5 years and adolescents aged 12 to 19 years and has more than tripled for children aged 6 to 11 years old.

Overweight adolescents have a 70 percent chance of becoming overweight or obese adults. This increases to 80 percent if one or more parent is overweight or obese. (United States Department of Health and Human Services)

The Fitness Cellar offers XRKade classes designed to combine health, fitness and fun!

Athlete Performance Program

Develop the skill sets sought after by both Collegiate and professional organizations in your athlete using the XRKade Interactive gaming center. We will build on the basic functional sports movements of athletes with exercises and baseline testing to determine your levels of speed, agility, balance, reflexes, strength and eye coordination. We will then use these results as a starting point to build on and increase current strengths and strengthen weaknesses to ensure peak performance.

 

Family Fusion

A fun-filled family night out that beats any movie or video game and will bring your family closer together. An interactive gaming experience! Have fun, compete against other families and win prizes. Structured competitions and open play.

Parent's Night Out

Want some peace and quiet for the evening? Or go on a date with a loved one? Here is your opportunity. Includes healthy snacks, fun activities and more!

Club Night

Focused towards 12 to 16 year-olds. Enjoy activities that include music, games with friends, challenges. No parents allowed!

Standard XRKade Birthday Package - $150.00

• 60 minutes use of the XRKade
• 10 to 15 children
• $12.50 for each child over 15, max of 25
• 1 bottled water per person
• 1 XRKade hat or shirt for the birthday child
• An XRKade coach to lead activities and competition fun!

Premium XRKade Birthday Package - $200.00

• 90 minutes use of the XRKade
• 10 to 20 children
• $12.50 for each child over 15, max of 25
• 1 bottled water per person
• 1 large pizza (can purchase additional pizzas at $8.00 each)
• 1 XRKade hat or shirt for the birthday child
• An XRKade coach to lead activities and competition fun!

Deluxe XRKade Birthday Package - $250.00

• 120 minutes use of the XRKade
• 20 to 25 children (maximum of 25)
• 1 bottled water per person
• 2 large pizzas (can purchase additional pizzas at $8.00 each)
